JULY FISHING

JULY FISHING IS STILL GOOD TO FAIR WITH SOME ANGLERS DOING GOOD AND SOME FAIR YOU MUST HAVE THE STAMINA TO FISH CRANK BAITS AND RIP THE BAIT FOR THOSE REACTION STRIKES YOU SLOW DOWN IN WINTER AND SPEED UP IN SUMMER BUMPING AND GRINDING IS THE KEY FOR GREATER NUMBER OF BIG FISH BUT WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 100 DEG THIS IS HARD TO DO ALL DAY SQUARE BILLS AND SPINNER BAIT AND RATTLE TRAPS ARE THE TICKET FOR SUCCESS.GIANT CATFISH AND ALLIGATOR GAR ARE COMMON THIS TIME OF YEAR THE BIG BASS ARE POOR AND ARE SLIM  THIS TIME OF YEAR BIG HEADS AND SLIM BODIES MIKE AND FRANK LANDED A COUPLE OF HOGS THAT WEIGHT EIGHT POUNDS IN A 10 POUND BODY.WATER TEMP IS AT 83.6 DEG AND WATER LEVEL IS AT 265.12.WE HAD OUR FIRST BBQ WEDNESDAY LAST WEEK AND PEOPLE LOVED THE FOOD BABY BACK RIBS AND PULL PORK WITH POTATO SALAD AND BEANS ALSO HAD THE PULL PORK SANDWICHES.YOU MUST STOP BY AND EAT AT ROBERT'S WE ARE OPEN WEDNESDAYS THROUGH SATURDAYS FROM 11;30 TO 8;PM AND 11:30 TO 5'PM ON SUNDAYS WE CLOSE THE RESTAURANT ON MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS BUT THE TACKLE SHOP IS OPEN FROM TUESDAYS THROUGH SUNDAYS COME SEE US FOR GREAT FOOD AND THE TIP OF THE DAY WE LOVE TO TALK FISHING AND WE MAY HELP YOU CATCH THE FISH OF A LIFE TIME!!!!! COME IN AND ENJOY THE HOSPITALITY AND THE CATFISH, SHRIMP, OYSTERS AND BBQ IT'S ALL GOOD!
