FEBRUARY HOGS!!!!!

FEBRUARY IS ALMOST GONE AND MARCH IS ALMOST HERE I GOT MY HOG THIS MONTH AND WE ARE ON THE HUNT FOR THE NEW STATE RECORD,FISHING HAS BEEN ON AND OFF BUT WITH THE WATER ON THE RISE AND THE ALGAE BLOOM FISH ARE TAKING A BRAKE AND WILL BE ON THE MOVE THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS TEMPERATURE IS GOING TO BE IN THE HIGH 80'S AND THE WATER TEMP IS IN THE 60'S BUT IT WILL HAPPEN SOON THE TREES ARE BLOOMING AND ALLERGY SEASON IS HERE SO BRING YOUR MEDICINE AND YOUR BROOM STICKS YOUR GOING TO NEED THEM!!!! WATER LEVEL TODAY 279.1 AND IT HAS COME UP A FOOT IN THE LAST WEEK WATER TEMP IS 61 BUT IT WILL BE IN THE UPPER 60'S BY END OF WEEK,PLASTICS AND SPINNERBAITS ARE KING AND SOME CRANKBAITS ALSO ARE WORKING AS WELL.

A.J AND CARLOS FISHED WITH ME AND WE HAD A BLAST WE HAD SOME BIG FISH AND SOME CRAPPIES A.J HAD THE BIGGEST AN 8 AND A 7 POUNDER  WITH SOME OTHER HEAVY 5'S ,WE HAVE NOT HOOKED A LOT OF MONSTER BASS THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS BUT MARCH IS ALMOST HERE AND THE BIG GIRLS WILL PLAY!!!!! KENT BAUGHT  ALSO GOT HIS DREAM HOG A 12 7 POUND HAWG CONGRATS MY FRIEND GREAT FISH!!!!!!

WATER LEVEL 278.1 TEMP AT 61 TO 68 FISH ARE ON THE MOVE  LOT'S OF ANGLERS IN TOWN!!!!JIMMY AND TERRY FISHED WITH ME THEY HAD A GREAT TIME TERRY GOT A 8.11 TOAD HIS ALL TIME BEST ALSO GLEN AND RICK FROM L.A THEY HAD A BLAST LOTS OF EIGHT'S BIGGEST 11,08 HOG CONGRATS TO RICK GLEN HAD SOME HOGS ON BUT HE WILL GET THEM NEXT TIME !!!!

WINDS AND HIGH PRESSURE!!

TODAY THE WIND WAS HAULING AND MOST ANGLERS STAYED IN YESTERDAY I FISHED WITH LONG TIME FRIENDS CHAD AND RIAN  FROM FORTH WORTH AND IT WAS SLOW MOST OF THE DAY BUT WE LANDED SOME BIG FISH BIGGEST ABOUT NINE AND A 8.11 AND A COUPLE OF HEAVY FIVES IT RAINED MOST OF THE DAY BUT IT WAS STILL A GREAT DAY OF FISHING.ALSO A FRIEND AND CUSTOMER JASSON MATHEWS GOT HIS BIG HAWG A 13 .0 MOTHER OF A BASS GREAT FISHING JASSON !!!!! WILL FLIP PHOTO TOMORROW BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE THE GREATT FISH

jerry's day!!!!!

The day started almost like yesterday with about 15 by lunch but thing got going after lunch,the baits that were working yesterday were not producing but one of my go to baits hammered them the L.F.T lures ring fry in chart pepper did the job Jerry got a ten pound the biggest of the day with about 20 more before we called it a day,Jerry is one cool cat and a great fisherman so is Bob they have been fishing together for a long time and I always enjoy been there guide two great friends indeed,we landed about 60 bass in two days with about 369 pound with a couple of double D's,Tomorrow will be another great day in Falcon Lake,it has started to rain but i will be ready for the gorillas in the morning!!!!!!!   

Bob and Jerry are back in town!!!!!

My friends and good customers from Forth worth are back fishing with me for another round of great fishing,the day started early with a few fish Bob landed a 9.11 and we had about 12 fish by noon but the bite turned on and the action was great with doubles and a few that got away till Bob landed a 10.5 Green Giant Bob is a great fisherman and the big girl did not stand a chance we will be after them again tomorrow.I also took my wife Norma fishing for valentines and we had a great time then I cooked her a great meal later on that evening we don't get to fish as mush as I would like but we love to fish together we flipped and also cranked some great fish we will be doing more in the summer months.Also my little friends and customers been having a great time they catch bass and catfish when they get off from school,it's great to see them start a great way of life of fishing especially when they live in falcon lake!!!!!

With the lake on the rise the fish are going to scatter and head for the creeks for another spawning cycle and I prey that it comes up another ten feet for the coming spring the brush and grasses are growing along the shore and that new growth will give them a better chance.the lake is fishing different then last year due to water fluctuation and conditions but with about two weeks of hot weather thing are going to explode and it will be on.lot's of anglers from all over are here to fish and some are doing great...water temp is at 61 deg and cloudy sky's today with temperatures in the mid 50's we all been having a great month of fishing ....
