December 26
The weather is perfect with wind speed about 8 miles per hour,it got in the high 30's and is about 59 deg the water temp is at 60 deg, lake is dropping and the fish are been pulled to creek channels, my friend Larry Kopp fished yesterday and they had a blast the wind was out of the north about25 m.p.h and the fish were hitting just about anything you got in front of them, his son had about 20 fish in the first 40 cast Rickie said he had the best Christmas fishing with his Dad ever and landed two fish over 8 pounds.
We wish everyone a Happy New Year 2011, falcon lake is going to be a great one for lots of Hawgs with marble eyes and big heads and a bad attitude,I hope we get some needed rain for the crops down south and the fish will have a great spawn it ok if it dropps a foot or two and have some weeds and new growth for the fry to hide in.
bass,Crappies or Catfish is wath your after you need to come to Falcon Lake you be glad you did,our best months for monster bass are here and you need to be making plans to come fish with us...Thanks again

December 8th 2010
Welcome to our blog,Falcon Lake is still holding at 303 and the cold fronts are coming in more regularly, today the wind is blowing about 20 to 25 out of the north and that will cool the water a little more its about 62 deg to 65 deg.

Bob and Richard green fished last week and had some great days biggest was a 11 pound Hawg, the fishing comtinues to be good in the 6 to 14 ft of water with spinnerbaits and plastics, the best baits for the week were white/chart spinners in 3/4 oz Lake Fork Hipper stick in watermelon red,Kandi stick speed bug in 5.5 in .

The Crappie action is off to a great start with the last 3 years of good spawns there is plenty for the hole family to have fun,we been catching some good ones along with some giant blue gill, creek channels and bridge pilings are working the best in 12 to 15 ft of water.

Today with the north wind the best place to fish are Burro Creek,Veleno Creek, and the Tigers but you have to drive down the 4 miles of caliche road it can get dusty but it will save you back.If you want to fish after the holidays give me a call and your in for a great time this Falcon Bass are big and mean and ready for some action.

Falcon Lake is a paradise with the best fishing in the U.S.A we have not had any problems every one that is fishing here from up North are having some great fishing cat fihing Crappies and big bass are the only thing happening.....Thanks and have a happy Holidays...
