October 18th 2010
Welcome to our blog.the water temperature is cooling down and the mornings are in the 60's the best fishing has been early around 7:30 am to 9:30 start off with lizards, brush hogs and mag flukes just let the fish tell you what they want on that day,we all tie differant baits and it's faster to pattern them.

Texas rigged or Carolina rig with a 1/2 oz weight fished from 10 to 15 ft will do the trick,if you don't get bit start slow rolling a 3/4 oz spinner bait in the shad or bream pattern till you locate a school.
I like to move out later in the day and start working that big blade in 20 to 30 ft and then switch over to the jig the fish are looking for craw fish protein to get them through the winter and they start looking a little orange to red around the mouth.

This fish will smoke that jig and it's on all it takes is on solid thump! and a quick hook set and it's fun.If you like to master or learn deep offshore fishing give me a call we are going to have a great season,we do it all on any given day and it's not over till you connect with a monster Bass here in Falcon Lake...Jessy had a 10 pound Hawg on hiperstick watermelon red....
