Falcon Lake fishing continues to get better with the heat in the 100 to 103 and the water temp at 92 deg the fish are just gorging them self wit bream and talapia that are about 3 to 5 inches long and when you find the fish and they are feeding you are in for some fun been catching a lot of fish in the 3 to 4 pound range and we also been hanging some toads mostly with plastic baits flukes ,jigs and some crank baits. The Lake level is at 300.80 and the best bite has been from 7 am to 10:30 am then you have to fish heavy brush with big jigs and heavy spinner baits in the blue gill pattern slow roll and bump brush for best results, there has not been any problems on the Lake we been fishing and we had nothing but fish to deal with and ones with an attitude, there are reports on T.V mostly every week and all they are reporting is old news that took place in May,we mostly fish U.SA side of the lake and the Mexico side looks calm with berry little activity.US Border Patrol are on the lake daily and as for Zapata this a friendly town with a lot of good folks just trying to make a living so if you want to fish give me a call we be glad to show you the action on Falcon Lake. The last three trips we had about 30 to 45 fish daily with some heavy 8 and 9's mostly solid 4and 5's took out Bubby Menard and hid son Zack we had 20 or so fish by 9 am and they were some chunks and then we did some flipping and got some good action.
